Adult Classes &
Bible Study

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

Faith Global Methodist Church currently has two groups which offer Christian education opportunities to adults. The Beacons of Faith Sunday school class has 18-20 members ranging in ages from 40-something to 70-something. They meet in the Moses Room during the 9:00 am Sunday School hour, and use short-term studies to grow in biblical knowledge and deepening discipleship. The topic now being led by Barb Hilty is a study of Jesus’ parables, using the LifeGuide series by John White entitled Parables, The Greatest Stories Ever Told.
Another adult group also meets at 9:00 am on Sundays. Chip Glunt is the lead facilitator of discussion on various sections of the Bible. These folks meet in Room #3.
Both gatherings always welcome people who are interested in group discovery of God's Word through prayer and faith-building conversation with fellowship and laughter thrown in! We're Sharing Christ's Love Through Faith.  Come join us!

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

Pastor Ron offers two 6-week Bible studies throughout the year. Spring (Lenten) and Fall (Pre-Advent) Sessions are held in the sanctuary on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm, and typically use studies by well-known Christian Bible teachers/pastors.

Lenten Bible Study will begin February 12th 2024.

Trace the footsteps of Jesus from the bustle of Bethlehem to the quiet garden tomb to the road outside Emmaus where two friends heard God’s story from God himself.
This inspirational journey through the hills, the dust, and the homes of the Holy Land invites you to see, with new eyes, God’s heart for his people and his deep love for you.
With beautiful photographs and questions for reflection, In the Footsteps of the Savior is a travelogue for the soul through Nazareth, Galilee, Bethany, Jerusalem, and more. As Max weaves together insights from his own travels to Israel with inspirational teaching from his bestselling books, he guides you through three distinct aspects of Jesus’ life: his arrival, his ministry on earth, and his death and resurrection.
As Max writes, “May you hear him as he speaks to you. May you be changed as you journey in the footsteps of the Savior.”

Fellowship and Service Group
The Fellowship and Service Group live up the name.  Adults of all ages (young parents, singles, and retirees) gather every Sunday morning at 9 AM between worship services in the fellowship hall.  These folks often put down their coffee cups and donuts to work on making items or organizing and assembling mission boxes for the many varied outreach projects which Faith Church undertakes throughout the year.  In the process the participants are learning the lessons of koinonia, they are Sharing Christ’s Love Through Faith, and are having a grand time of connecting with other folks in the church family.
